Despite Interest from Europe's Giants.. Camavinga Refuses to Leave Real Madrid

Monday 22-06-2026
The French player Eduardo Camavinga insists on staying with Real Madrid, despite being included in the list of players expected to leave during the summer transfer period, according to the Spanish newspaper 'Sport'.

According to the newspaper, the decision to put the player on the sale list came as part of Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho's plan to rebuild the team after two disappointing seasons, focusing on strengthening the midfield with more experienced players, which led the club to consider letting go of some players.

The report indicated that Camavinga, who joined Real Madrid in 2021 from Rennes, has not consistently delivered the expected level of performance, despite his great potential, prompting the club's management to consider selling him for around 60 million euros.

The 23-year-old player is attracting the interest of several European clubs, most notably Paris Saint-Germain, alongside Manchester United, Juventus, Chelsea, and Liverpool, while he is under contract with Real Madrid until 2029 with a significant release clause.

Despite this, sources close to the player confirm that he does not wish to leave the royal club and is determined to stay and try to regain his place within the team next season, despite the strong competition in the midfield.
