Mourinho Agrees to Asensio's Departure

The Spanish club Real Madrid is planning to part ways with defender Raúl Asensio during the current summer transfer window, as part of restructuring the defense line under the leadership of Portuguese coach José Mourinho.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Mourinho has given the club's management the green light to sell the player as part of a strategic plan aimed at making significant changes to the defensive line.

Real Madrid strengthened its squad this summer by signing French defender Ibrahima Konaté on a free transfer, in a move aimed at enhancing the quality of the defensive line.

The report indicated that the Royal Club is also seeking to sign an additional defender who is proficient with the left foot, based on a direct request from Mourinho, as part of his project to rebuild the team in a balanced manner.

These moves are part of restructuring the team in line with the Portuguese coach's vision to return the team to the podiums in the next season.
