Liverpool Insists on Jones' Price as Inter Milan Presses to Finalize the Deal

Sunday 21-06-2026
The newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" reported that Liverpool refuses to back down from its financial demands regarding the sale of midfielder Curtis Jones, which are set at 30 million euros, despite Inter Milan's continued interest in signing him during the summer transfer window.

According to the same source, Inter Milan had made an initial offer of 20 million euros in recent days, but Liverpool's management remains firm on their full price, in addition to a resale clause.

The Italian club continues its efforts to reach an agreement with Liverpool in the coming days, with a desire to finalize the deal before the start of the preparation period for the new season under the leadership of coach Cristian Chivu.

The report indicated that Curtis Jones' contract with Liverpool ends in 2027, which gives Inter Milan hope of possibly reducing the price later if negotiations continue.

The source also explained that the player himself is showing a desire to move to Inter Milan during the summer transfer window.
