Germany Defeats Ivory Coast and Advances to the Round of 32 in the World Cup

The German national team achieved an exciting victory over their counterpart Ivory Coast with a score of 2-1 in the second round of the group stage in the World Cup, in the match held at BMO Field on Saturday evening.

The German team scored through Pavlovic in the 22nd minute, but it was disallowed due to a foul in favor of the goalkeeper. Then, Franck Kessié scored the lead goal for Côte d'Ivoire in the 30th minute.

In the 39th minute, Florian Wirtz scored an equalizing goal for Germany, but it was disallowed due to a foul by a German player before the goal, ending the first half with Côte d'Ivoire leading 1-0.

In the 68th minute, the German national team scored the equalizer through Deniz Undav, after a cross from Nadiem Amiri which Undav skillfully converted into the net. Deniz Undav then returned to score the winning goal in the 90+4 minute.

The German team increased its tally to 6 points and qualified for the round of 32, while Côte d'Ivoire's tally remained at 3 points in second place.
