Beşiktaş Increases Offer to Sign Pavlidis

Saturday 20-06-2026
The Turkish club Beşiktaş continues its efforts to sign Greek striker Vangelis Pavlidis during the summer transfer window, with the Portuguese newspaper "A Bola" indicating that the Turkish club may raise its offer to around 40 million euros.

Beşiktaş had previously made lower offers before deciding to increase their value in an attempt to persuade Benfica to part with their top scorer, who had delivered two outstanding seasons with the Portuguese team's jersey.

On the other hand, Benfica does not intend to easily let go of the player, as they are demanding 50 million euros to agree to complete the deal, insisting on keeping the Greek striker due to his significant importance to the team.

The gap between Beşiktaş's offer and Benfica's demands remains, meaning that the negotiations still need further convergence before reaching a final agreement between the two parties.
