The Netherlands national team achieved a significant victory over its Swedish counterpart with a score of 5-1 in the match that brought them together in the second round of the group stage of the World Cup, at the NRG Stadium, on Saturday evening.

The match began with a strong Dutch start, as Brian Brobbey opened the scoring with two goals in the 6th and 17th minutes, before Cody Gakpo added the third goal in the 47th minute.

In the second half, the Dutch team continued its dominance, with Gakpo scoring again to make it 4-0 in the 54th minute. Sweden reduced the deficit through Anthony Elanga in the 59th minute.
