Atletico Madrid Presses to Finalize Grimaldo Deal

Journalist Matteo Moretto reported that Atlético Madrid is preparing to make an offer ranging between 18 and 20 million euros, including bonuses, to sign Spanish full-back Alejandro Grimaldo during the summer transfer window.

According to the report, the Madrid club prefers the fixed value of the deal to be low, between 10 and 13 million euros, with the addition of variables and bonuses that increase the total offer.

On the other hand, Bayer Leverkusen is demanding around 25 million euros to agree to sell the player, which means there is currently a financial gap between the two parties.

Morito pointed out that the good relationship between the two clubs could facilitate the negotiations, at a time when Grimaldo is showing great enthusiasm for the idea of wearing the Atlético Madrid jersey.
