The Brazilian Football Federation announced the details of the injury sustained by the star during Brazil's match against Haiti in Group C of the 2026 World Cup, confirming the start of the player's treatment program with continuous monitoring of his medical condition.

The Brazilian Football Federation clarified in an official statement issued after the match that Raphinha felt pain in the hamstring of his right thigh during the first half, noting that the player has already started treatment and will undergo re-evaluation in the coming period to determine his condition more accurately.

For his part, Brazilian national team coach Carlo Ancelotti spoke about the Barcelona player's injury during the press conference after the match, explaining that his departure from the field was due to feeling pain in the hamstring.

Ancelotti said: "Raphinha will be evaluated tomorrow, and so far we do not have a clear idea of what happened to the posterior knee tendon."

Raphinha left the field visibly affected by the injury and showing signs of concern, while several of his teammates made sure to support and console him after he left the match.

The match saw Ryan Vitor Rocha participate in place of Raphinha, as the youngest player in the Brazilian squad, and a professional at Bournemouth, entered to compensate for the absence of the injured winger.
