Brazilian President Mocks Neymar: The First Player to Be Called for Remote Work!

Brazilian President Lula da Silva mocked Neymar's situation with the national team, saying during an official event at a hospital in Belo Horizonte: "Neymar? He doesn't even play! He's the first player in the world to be called up to the national team to work remotely," referring to his continued absence due to injury.

Neymar will miss Brazil's match against Haiti in the 2026 World Cup, having also missed the opening match against Morocco due to a calf muscle injury, which prevented him from participating at the start of the "Seleção's" campaign in the tournament.

Without Neymar, Brazil stumbled in their first World Cup appearance, settling for a 1-1 draw with Morocco on June 13, in a match where the Brazilian squad failed to secure the three points.

The player continues his rehabilitation program within the national team's camp, having recently started group training with his teammates, amid anticipation regarding his potential return to participate in the upcoming matches during the tournament.
