Marwan Attia: I Dream of Participating in the World Cup Final with the Egyptian National Team
Marwan Attia, the star of the Egyptian national team, confirmed that he dreams of playing in the 2026 World Cup final with the Egyptian team.
Marwan Attia said in statements on MBC Egypt: "I believe that Spain, France, Brazil, and Germany will qualify for the semi-finals in the 2026 World Cup."
He added, "I believe Argentina will be far from the final stages, but I particularly feel that the Egyptian team might have a chance to reach this stage. I certainly hope to play in the World Cup final with the Pharaohs; this is not far-fetched in football."
Regarding his predictions for the current World Cup champion, he concluded: "I believe France will ultimately win the World Cup. They have very strong players capable of achieving that."
The Egyptian national team will face New Zealand next Monday in the second round of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
The match between Egypt and Belgium in the first round ended in a 1-1 draw.
