Amir Hesham Reveals Moatamed Gamal's Fate with Zamalek
The media personality Amir Hesham confirmed that the management of Zamalek has not yet decided the fate of Moatamed Gamal, the head coach of the White team.
He said on his program Modern Sports on the satellite channel Modern MTI: "There is no stability yet on the name of the new head coach, given the division within the board of directors, which wants to keep Moatamed Gamal, while John Edward, the sporting director, wants to hire a foreign coach."
He added, "Zamalek is also negotiating with the officials of the Air Defense Stadium to host the training sessions for the upcoming season, but has not yet received official approval, despite the club owning a stadium at the Mit Okba branch."
He clarified: "There is a sense of bewilderment given that the club owns a stadium within the main branch, yet the club's treasury incurred an amount exceeding 10 million pounds, which was paid to rent the Military College stadium for training last season."
He concluded: "Certainly, it is best for Zamalek Club to prepare its field in Mit Okba and train on it."
