Ibrahim Hassan, the manager of the Egyptian national football team, revealed that the team will head to Vancouver, Canada, on the morning of June 19 in preparation for their match against New Zealand.
The Egyptian national team will face New Zealand early next Monday in the second round of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
The official website of the Football Association confirmed that Ibrahim Hassan stated that the Egyptian national team's delegation will head from Spokane Airport on a private plane provided by the International Federation for the teams participating in the tournament, in a flight that will take one hour.
He pointed out that the Egyptian national team will conduct its training in Vancouver at 6 PM Canadian time, which is 4 AM Cairo time.
The match between Egypt and Belgium in the first round ended in a 1-1 draw.
