Giroud on Bouaddi: Morocco is Lucky.. and He Might Join Real Madrid in the Future

French striker Olivier Giroud expressed his great admiration for his teammate at Lille, Moroccan international Ayoub Bouaddi, praising his technical level and mental maturity, and confirming that the Moroccan national team would be lucky to have a player with these qualities.

In statements made to 'BBC', Giroud said: 'I was very impressed by his maturity, and his surrounding environment is very good, his head is organized, meaning he is calm and confident, and maintains his personality. It's wonderful to have him in the team.'

The French striker added: 'I think Morocco is very happy to have him. He showed that from the first match, and I think this is just the beginning. He is only 18 years old and can offer a lot in the future.'

Giroud continued his talk by referring to a comparison circulated by those close to him, saying: 'I was talking with some friends, they sent me pictures combining Patrick Vieira and Sergio Busquets, and they said he is a mix of the two.'

He explained: 'He is not yet at Sergio Busquets' technical level, but he has some skills. As for Patrick Vieira, he lacks some strength to be compared to him, but he will develop and become stronger over time.'

Giroud's praise did not stop there, as he considered that the player's market value is continuously rising, saying: 'His value now exceeds 60 or 70 million, it will be difficult for Lille to keep him. He is a complete player and versatile, moving everywhere on the field, and is a bit like N'Golo Kante.'

He concluded his remarks by pointing to the most important development point in the young player's career: 'The only thing he needs to improve is finishing attacks, meaning the final touch in front of the goal. If he gains that, we might see him at Real Madrid in the coming years.'
