The journalist Ibrahim Abdeljawad revealed details of Al Ahly's offer to sign Ali Mahmoud, the Enppi player, during the summer transfer window.
Abdel Jawad explained on his Facebook account that Al Ahly contacted the officials of Enppi Club through the sports director Essam Siraj and made an official offer of 30 million pounds to sign the player, with the amount to be paid over 5 years, which is the proposed duration of the contract with the player.
He added that Ayman El-Sherei, the president of Enppi Club, initially welcomed the offer but stipulated the addition of incentives and bonuses linked to the player's performance and achievements with Al Ahly over the five years, which would raise the total value of the deal to about 70 million pounds.
Abdeljawad pointed out that Al Ahly's management is currently considering Enppi's request before making a final decision on the financial terms required, as the club aims to strengthen its squad with outstanding players in preparation for the new season.
