Amorim Targets Gonçalo Ramos as Milan's Primary Striker
Milan's new coach Ruben Amorim has identified Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos, a player for Paris Saint-Germain, as the first choice to strengthen the striker position for the 2026/2027 season, according to reports from 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' and 'Tuttosport'.
Milan announced their contract with Ruben Amorim, who will begin his technical duties in the coming period to lead the team's new project.
According to the same sources, Paris Saint-Germain values Gonçalo Ramos at around 40 million euros, a sum that Milan can afford, but the Italian club prefers to negotiate a loan deal with an option or obligation to buy in 2027.
The report indicated that Milan's management and Amorim rely on agent Jorge Mendes to facilitate negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain, aiming to reach an agreement with terms suitable for both parties.
The reports also clarified that Milan has an alternative option in case the Ramos deal falls through, which is the striker Darwin Núñez, a former Liverpool player who currently plays for Al-Hilal Saudi Club under coach Simone Inzaghi.
