Officially.. Real Madrid Announces Signing of Ibrahima Konaté
The Spanish club Real Madrid officially announced today, Thursday, the signing of French defender Ibrahima Konaté on a free transfer, in order to strengthen and support the team's lineup.
The Royal Club stated in its announcement: "Real Madrid Football Club and Ibrahima Konaté have reached an agreement for him to be a player with Real Madrid for the next four seasons, until June 30, 2030."
The French star is the third signing for Real Madrid this summer, following the acquisition of left-back Marc Cucurella from Chelsea for 60 million euros, and Portuguese star Bernardo Silva on a free transfer after his contract with Man City ended.
It is noted that the French defender played 183 matches with Liverpool across various competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 4 assists, while managing to win five titles with the English club.
