Egyptian press reports revealed that Al Ahly club management has decided to postpone the decision regarding Moroccan international Reda Slim, who has returned from his loan period at the Royal Army, until Hussein Ammouta assumes his technical duties and begins assessing the team's needs for the upcoming season.

According to press reports, the past few hours have witnessed communications between Al-Ahly officials and the Moroccan player to discuss the offers he recently received, in addition to considering the options available regarding his future after his loan period ends.

The same sources clarified that the management of the Red Castle has decided to link the registration of Reda Slim on the team's roster to the decision of the upcoming coach, Hussein Amouta, who will determine the extent of his need for the player's services in the upcoming phase.

This approach comes in light of the crisis Al-Ahly is facing regarding its list of foreign players. The team currently includes seven foreign professionals, which requires the management to release at least two players to comply with the regulations, even before considering signing new foreign deals in the upcoming transfer window.

The future of Reda Slim is directly linked to Amouta's technical vision, as they await the final decision that will determine whether the player will return to Al Ahly or continue his journey outside the club in the upcoming season.

In a related development, Al Ahly Club announced the appointment of Moroccan coach Hussein Ammouta as the head coach of the first football team, succeeding Danish coach Jess Thorup, who concluded his tenure with the team after completing his journey as the head of the technical staff.
