A positive draw was achieved in the match between Egypt and Belgium with a result of 1-1, in the match that took place this Monday evening at Lumen Field in Seattle, as part of the first round of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.

Egypt's national team scored the opening goal in the 20th minute through Imam Ashour with a rocket shot from outside the penalty area, giving the Pharaohs an early advantage in the match.

In the 66th minute, the Belgian team equalized after an own goal scored by Mohamed Hani, mistakenly putting the ball into his own net, bringing the match back to a draw between the two sides.
