Officially.. Atalanta announces the signing of Maurizio Sarri until 2029

Atalanta Club officially announced the appointment of Italian coach Maurizio Sarri as the head coach of the first team, succeeding Raffaele Palladino in leading the club in the upcoming phase.

According to Italian reports, Sarri signed a contract extending until the summer of 2029, with a salary estimated at around 3.5 million euros annually, in a move that confirms Atalanta's desire to build a long-term project with one of the most prominent coaches in Italian football.

The 67-year-old coach returns to work after the end of his stint with Lazio, drawing on a distinguished career that includes winning the Italian league with Juventus and the Europa League with Chelsea.

Atalanta's management hopes that Sarri will lead a new phase for the team after the end of a long era that saw significant successes under the leadership of Gian Piero Gasperini, with the aim of bringing the club back into contention for top positions both domestically and in Europe.
