Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, the star of the Egyptian national team, confirmed that the Pharaohs will play all their World Cup matches with the aim of achieving victory.
The Egyptian national team will face its Belgian counterpart tomorrow evening, Monday, in the first round of the group stage of the World Cup.
Trezeguet said in statements to reporters before the match against Belgium: "All the national team players are united as one, and our goal is to make the fans happy."
He added: "We approach every match with one goal, which is to win. We respect the Belgian team and all the teams in the group, and we prepare for each match individually."
He continued: "All the players are ready to face Belgium, and the decision to participate is in the hands of Hossam Hassan."
