Journalist Ben Jacobs reported on his official account on the "X" platform that Manchester United could benefit financially if coach Ruben Amorim takes on the role of managing AC Milan in the near future.

The same source clarified that Amorim taking on a new coaching position would halt compensation payments amounting to 15.9 million pounds, which the English club was obligated to pay under previous arrangements, and these payments would cease as soon as he returns to work.

Amorim had left his position as coach of Manchester United earlier following a series of negative results with the team, before his name was linked with the possibility of returning to coaching through AC Milan.

This means that the Portuguese coach's move to Milan could directly ease the financial burdens on Manchester United by halting those compensations.
