The Brazilian legend Romário defended his national team following the draw against Morocco in the first round of the 2026 World Cup, rejecting the notion that the result was a defeat.
Romário said, "A draw in the first World Cup match against an opponent like Morocco is not considered a defeat except by those who do not understand football."
