Ahmed Hassan said on his Facebook page: "A source in Al Ahly: The most likely option is to hold the training camp for the new season in Spain... We are waiting for the final decision from the new coach."
Al-Ahly recently announced the departure of Danish coach Jes Torup from his position.
The Al-Ahly club's board of directors is racing against time to finalize the file of the new head coach.
