Álvarez also emphasized that he will not make any public moves to push for a departure, insisting that his future should be resolved quietly in the coming period.

On the other hand, Barcelona insists on the player being a primary target, with expectations of making a new offer that might convince Atlético Madrid, which is still considering the situation amid the difficulty of finalizing the deal before the World Cup begins.
