Liverpool Considers the Return of Darwin Núñez

The name of Uruguayan striker Darwin Núñez stands out as an option on Liverpool's table, with increasing interest within the club to explore the possibility of his return to Anfield, given the developments in his situation with Saudi club Al Hilal.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," Al Hilal club is considering mutually terminating Nunez's contract after a challenging season in the Saudi league, which has opened the door to the possibility of his departure during the transfer window.

The player's situation worsened after he was excluded from the team's roster last February due to foreign player restrictions following the signing of Karim Benzema.

According to "Talk Sport," Núñez participated in 24 matches during which he contributed to 14 goals, despite receiving a high salary estimated at around 400,000 pounds per week.
