Shane Kluivert Promoted to Barcelona's First Team

Reports close to FC Barcelona have mentioned that the young striker Shane Kluivert, aged 18, has joined the first team's training sessions during the pre-season preparation, in a move that reflects the coaching staff's confidence in his abilities and development within the club's academy.

The young Dutch player, who plays for Barcelona's youth team, has received an official notice to join the first team, with preparations set to begin on July 13th. He will participate in a training camp in England, where he aims to prove himself among the team's stars.

Shane Kluivert, a player for the Netherlands U19 national team, is considered one of the standout talents of the Catalan club's academy. Last season, he played 22 matches with Barcelona Athletic, scoring two goals and providing two assists. He recently extended his contract until 2028.

It is noted that his father, Patrick Kluivert, previously wore the Barcelona jersey between 1998 and 2004, playing 257 matches and scoring 122 goals, keeping the family's legacy alive in Catalonia with the new generation rising to the first team.
