Bardhi Awaits Decision on His Future with Barcelona

The Swedish player Roni Bardji, a winger for Barcelona, is spending his summer vacation waiting for his future with the Catalan club to become clear, after his role diminished during his first season with the first team.

The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that the 20-year-old player took advantage of the break to attend the Monaco Grand Prix for Formula 1, sharing photos from his visit to the French principality with his followers on social media.

This comes at a time when Bardji's future is still under consideration by Barcelona, especially after he was excluded from the final list of the Swedish national team participating in the 2026 World Cup.

The same source added that several Premier League clubs are monitoring the player's situation in preparation for a potential loan move, while his departure could facilitate some of Barcelona's moves in the transfer market, including the possibility of signing Portuguese player Bernardo Silva.

Bardji did not get many opportunities to participate during the last season, as he scored two goals and provided four assists in just 864 minutes.

Barcelona believes in the player's long-term potential, so the option of a loan is strongly considered to give him more playing time and help him continue developing. The club also does not rule out the possibility of selling him while retaining the right to buy him back in the future, which would provide financial returns that could be invested in strengthening the team.
