Journalist Ramón Álvarez has revealed new developments concerning the potential coaching staff of Portuguese coach José Mourinho, should he take over the leadership of Real Madrid in the near future.
According to what the journalist reported on his account on the 'X' platform, the Portuguese legend and former Real Madrid player Pepe is a strong candidate to join Mourinho's coaching staff, as part of the new coaching project being prepared within the royal club.
Álvarez added that Pepe is in a good position to become a member of Mourinho's coaching staff, in the event of a formal agreement for the Portuguese coach's return to managing Real Madrid.
Florentino Pérez's election campaign had announced José Mourinho's arrival to coach the team, in the event Pérez wins the presidency of the club over Enrique Riquelme.
It is worth mentioning that Mourinho and Pepe previously worked together at Real Madrid during the period between 2010 and 2013, which strongly suggests the idea of reuniting them in the current phase.
