Sunday 07-06-2026
The Moroccan national team will undergo a final friendly test when they face the Norwegian team, concluding their preparation program for the World Cup finals. This is part of the intensive training camp both teams are undertaking before the tournament kicks off, which will be hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

The "Atlas Lions" enter this match with the ambition of achieving a positive result that would provide the players with a significant morale boost before the start of official competitions, especially after the strong performance the team displayed in its previous friendly matches, which saw them defeat Burundi 5-0 and then Madagascar 4-0.

Coach Mohamed Wahbi is using this match to assess the final readiness of the available players, as well as to fine-tune tactical details and finalize the lineup he will rely on in the world championship.

The match between the two sides is scheduled to take place today, Sunday, at the "Red Bull Arena" in the state of New Jersey, USA, at 10:00 PM Mecca time.

It is noted that the Moroccan national team is in Group C during the World Cup finals alongside Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti, while the Norwegian national team plays in Group I, which includes France, Senegal, and Iraq.
