The Electoral Process Begins at Real Madrid

Today, the eyes of Real Madrid fans are on the club's presidential elections, as members head to choose a new president and board of directors. This decisive day could shape the future of the royal club in the coming years.

Real Madrid announced that the voting process will take place today, June 7, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM continuously, inside the basketball hall at the Real Madrid sports city in the Spanish capital, Madrid.

The club explained that the city of Madrid will experience significant traffic disruptions and road closures today, in addition to changes in the public transport network, due to preparations for the visit of Pope Leo XIV. This prompted the club's management to devise a special plan to facilitate members' access to the voting venue.

In this context, Real Madrid provided a free bus service from several points within the city, including the areas of Barajas, Chamartin, and Avenida de America, operating continuously throughout the voting hours. Additionally, special parking spaces and internal transportation services from the parking areas to the election venue were provided.

Fans of the club are eagerly awaiting the results of these elections, which see a competition between the current president Florentino Perez and Spanish businessman Enrique Riquelme. There are expectations that the outcome will have a direct impact on the sports project and the club's plans during the current summer transfer market.
