The renowned media personality Ahmed Shobeir revealed the truth about the rumors regarding Ahmed Sayed Zizo, the star of Al Ahly, receiving a substantial salary from the Red Club.
Shobeir denied on the program "Here is the 2026 World Cup" on Al-Nahar channel that Zizo receives a huge salary, confirming that claims of the player receiving 80, 90, or 100 million Egyptian pounds are completely false and not based on any information.
He added: "Zizo, as a star, brought a lot of advertisements for Al Ahly Club, and his contract is covered for at least the first two years, with profits as well."
He continued: "Zizo didn't cost Al Ahly a single penny; the money was paid through advertisements and programs that came to the player."
