A Touching Message from Walid Soliman After Leaving His Position at Al Ahly
Walid Soliman, the former director of the youth sector at Al Ahly Club, sent an emotional message to the club's fans after leaving his position.
Walid Suleiman said on Facebook: "Life is a series of stations, but what is certain is that the journey of love and belonging will never stop. Today, as I leave, I am proud and satisfied with my journey in the youth sector of our great club Al Ahly after a three-year journey that concluded with a golden harvest season, winning five championships, injecting a lot of promising blood into the first team, and having several players go professional abroad."
He added, "I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to all members of the wonderful organization, starting with the board of directors, passing through all my fellow coaches and administrators, companions in the journey of struggle and championships, and ending with the young players who are truly men."
And he continued: "As I conclude my journey in the youth sector, I recall with tears of happy memories my first steps at the beginning of the journey within our club 16 years ago, to achieve a dream that only death and God's will could have stood in the way of realizing."
He noted: "It was a journey in which God destined for me to embrace all the glories and lift the cup of all local, continental, and global titles."
He continued: "I still sing (Remember Radès... Remember Garou... Remember Al Ahly in Japan)."
He concluded: "They said about me that I am the 'Seal of Solomon,' but in truth, I am always proud that I was once the 'Servant of Solomon' for Al Ahly and its fans, and I will remain so as long as the love for Al Ahly runs like blood in my veins. Today, I return to where I came from, where the love was born since childhood, the stands of the third north, where the story continues and the journey completes, God willing."
