Al-Ahly Officially Announces Torup's Departure
The Al Ahly club announced on Thursday evening the departure of the team's head coach, Jes Torup, from his position.
The Al Ahly club released an official statement on its social media accounts as follows: "The club has definitively ended its contractual relationship with Danish coach Jes Thorup, the head coach of the first football team, and his assisting staff, by mutual consent."
Al-Ahly clarified that the termination of the contract with Torop occurred during a session held by Yassin Mansour, the Vice Chairman of the Board, and Sayed Abdel Hafeez, a board member, with both the head coach and his agent, Firas Ali, in the presence of Abdullah Shehata, the legal advisor for the football sector.
Al Ahly clarified that Yes Torop has signed a financial settlement after receiving his dues, in accordance with the terms of his contract which ends on June 30th.
Al Ahly expressed gratitude to the head coach and his assistants for the period during which they took on the responsibility, exerting their utmost efforts to achieve the best results, and wished him success in his future endeavors.
