Tottenham Enters Negotiations to Include Van Hecke

Tottenham Hotspur is conducting negotiations with Brighton to sign Dutch defender Jan Paul van Hecke during the summer transfer window, as part of the club's moves to strengthen their defensive line.

Sky Sports reported that Tottenham made an initial offer to include the player, but Brighton rejected it, while talks are still ongoing between the two parties regarding the potential deal.

Van Hecke is under contract with Brighton until 2027, and he worked under coach Roberto De Zerbi during his time at the club, where he participated in 50 matches under his supervision, before continuing to establish himself as one of the key elements in the team's defense since his emergence in 2023.

The Dutch defender joined Brighton from NAC Breda in 2020 for 1.8 million pounds.
