The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that 61-year-old Flick continued to shine with Barcelona this season, having been the key figure in leading the team to the La Liga title, maintaining his position as the best coach in the competition for the second consecutive year.
This triumph came after Barcelona finished the season as the highest-scoring team in the Spanish league with 95 goals, in addition to achieving an impressive record of 19 victories in 19 home matches during their campaign in the tournament.
The newspaper also pointed out that Flick had renewed his contract with Barcelona until 2028, with an optional additional season, after securing the league title, given the club management's satisfaction with the results and style of play he brings to the team.
