Official: Manchester United Announces Højlund's Permanent Move to Napoli
Manchester United announced on its official website the permanent transfer of Danish striker Rasmus Højlund to Napoli.
Højlund spent last season on loan with Napoli, where he scored 16 goals in 44 matches across all competitions, before the Italian club secured his permanent transfer.
The player transferred to Manchester United from Atalanta in the summer of 2023 and succeeded in scoring 26 goals in 95 matches during his time with the English club.
Højlund was part of the Manchester United squad that won the FA Cup in May 2024, having come on as a substitute in the match against Manchester City at Wembley Stadium.
At the beginning of the 2025/2026 season, the Danish striker returned to the Italian league on a one-season loan, contributing to Napoli's victory in the Italian Super Cup and securing second place in the Italian league.
