Perez and Mourinho Agree on Gvardiol Deal

Journalist Alberto Perero reported that coach José Mourinho expressed great admiration for Manchester City defender Josko Gvardiol, considering him one of the top defensive options to strengthen Real Madrid in the upcoming phase.

The Royal Club is preparing to announce the arrival of Mourinho to coach the team with a two-season contract, with an option to extend for an additional year if they win the Spanish League.

According to the report, Florentino Perez considers Gvardiol to be the best defender among all the names that have been presented to the club recently, surpassing deals for which preliminary agreements have been reached, namely Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries.

The source indicated that Real Madrid's management considers the Croatian defender a priority for their defense, given their strong belief in his capabilities, as well as his ability to play as a central defender and as a left-back.

The report added that the Royal Club will make every effort to sign Gvardiol during the transfer market, regardless of the cost of the deal, as part of the project to rebuild the defensive line for the future.
