He added that all details related to the player's transfer have been agreed upon, and the deal was closed this evening, with the necessary official procedures to be completed before the final announcement of the contract.

The addition of Dumfries represents a new reinforcement for Real Madrid, which continues its moves in the summer transfer market to enhance its tactical options before the start of the upcoming season.
