Shobeir Excludes the Possibility of Akram Tawfik's Return to Al-Ahly
The renowned media personality Ahmed Shobeir ruled out the possibility of Akram Tawfik, a player for Al-Shamal of Qatar, returning to Al Ahly during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Shobeir mentioned in a radio statement the difficulty of completing the deal given the abundance of options available within the team, whether in the right-back position or in the midfield.
He confirmed that Al Ahly might prefer to rely on their players returning from loan instead of recalling Akram Tawfik, who is currently not in the team's plans and priorities.
He also pointed out that the player's previous departure after his contract ended and his rejection of renewal offers contributed to complicating the idea of his return.
