Egyptian National Team Group and Their Chances of Advancing to the Next Round

With only a few days left until the start of the 2026 World Cup, the eyes of Egyptian fans are on the national team's participation in its fourth appearance in the tournament's history, amid high hopes of achieving an unprecedented feat and advancing to the knockout stages for the first time.

The World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19 in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, with 48 teams participating for the first time in the tournament's history.

The Pharaohs enter the tournament with great ambitions to achieve their first victory in World Cup history, as well as reaching the knockout stages for the first time, benefiting from the technical and moral stability the team has experienced recently.

The Belgian team is the favorite to top the group, while the Egyptian team relies on the experience of its captain Mohamed Salah and the brilliance of Omar Marmoush to strongly compete for a qualifying spot.

Recent positive results also give the Egyptian team a significant moral boost before the tournament begins, having achieved a 4-0 victory over Saudi Arabia, a goalless draw against Spain, and a 1-0 win over Russia.
