Liverpool Reaches Agreement with Iraola
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Liverpool Football Club has reached a preliminary agreement with Spanish coach Andoni Iraola to take over the team's management, confirming that the deal is now settled.
Romano clarified that the negotiations between the two parties saw significant progress over the past 48 hours, before reaching a final agreement for Iraola to take over coaching the Reds in the upcoming phase.
He added that the Spanish coach will lead Liverpool's new project following the dismissal of coach Arne Slot after a comprehensive evaluation of the current season, as the management decided to make a change at the helm of the coaching staff in preparation for the next season.
Iraola is considered one of the most prominent emerging coaches in Europe in recent years, having attracted attention with his outstanding work in the English Premier League with Bournemouth. This led Liverpool's management to choose him to lead the team in the upcoming phase.
