Real Madrid Moves to Sign Dumfries

Italian press reports revealed that Real Madrid continues its moves to strengthen its squad during the summer transfer market, having placed Dutch right-back Denzel Dumfries among its top targets in preparation for the next season.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Real Madrid's management has already made an initial move to sign the Dutch star, as the team seeks to bolster the right-back position.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan is preparing for the potential departure of the Dutch international, as it has begun working on signing young right-back Marco Balestra, an Atalanta player who was on loan at Cagliari this season.

Reports added that Inter has made an offer worth 40 million euros, plus 5 million euros in variables and incentives, to sign Balestra, but Atalanta insists on receiving 50 million euros to agree to sell the player.

The Dumfries deal remains tied to the developments of negotiations in the coming weeks, while Real Madrid continues to explore its options to strengthen the team before the new season kicks off.
