Italian press reports revealed that Austrian defender David Alaba has offered himself to Inter Milan recently, in a move aimed at experiencing a new challenge in the Italian league.
According to "La Gazzetta dello Sport," Inter Milan's management rejected the idea of signing Alaba for free due to the high financial demands he made regarding his salary, in addition to his age and frequent injuries.
The report clarified that the Italian club preferred to withdraw from the deal, choosing instead to focus on other transfer market targets that align with its financial and technical plans for the upcoming seasons.
This development comes after the departure of the Austrian star from Real Madrid this summer, following the end of his contract with the royal club.
