Flick's Stance on Signing Bernardo Silva

Portuguese Bernardo Silva is close to moving to Barcelona during the upcoming transfer window, after coach Hansi Flick expressed his approval for the signing, according to the Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo'.

Barcelona's interest in the player comes after his contract with Manchester City ended on June 30, following nine seasons with the English club. Although a final agreement has not yet been reached, Barcelona's management is waiting to resolve some departure files within the team to make room for the deal.

Bernardo Silva prefers to move to Barcelona despite receiving offers from other clubs, including Atletico Madrid, and has expressed his willingness to accept a lower salary than he was earning with Manchester City.

The player is known for his ability to occupy several positions in the midfield, along with his impressive physical record, having missed only 26 matches over the last 11 seasons with his club and the Portuguese national team.
