Juventus Hopes to Capitalize on Slot's Departure to Revive Alisson Deal

Press reports indicate that Juventus hopes the departure of coach Arne Slot from Liverpool will reopen the file for signing Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker during the summer transfer window.

Liverpool announced Slot's departure from his position as head coach by mutual consent, while the Italian newspaper 'Tuttosport' mentioned that the decision came after the team's results declined and they finished the season in fifth place in the Premier League.

This change led to a state of instability within Liverpool, despite reports suggesting the club is close to signing coach Andoni Iraola as his successor for the upcoming season.

'Tuttosport' explained that Slot had recommended the club's management to keep Alisson Becker for an additional season, while the idea of the goalkeeper's transfer to Juventus remains on the table, despite the difficulty of negotiations in recent times.

Alisson is a familiar name to Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti, as they previously worked together at AS Roma.
