Barcelona Rewards Dani Olmo

Dani Olmo will receive an improvement in his contract with Barcelona during the summer of 2026, implementing a previous agreement made when he joined the club in the summer of 2024.

The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' reported that the increase comes in appreciation of the player's sacrifices, who agreed at the time to reduce his financial demands to facilitate his registration and comply with financial fair play rules, despite having more valuable offers from other clubs.

Olmo also refused to leave for free in January 2025, preferring to continue with Barcelona after placing his trust in the club's management, led by Joan Laporta and Deco, which strengthened the relationship between the two parties.

The Spanish international does not consider leaving the team, as he plans to stay until the end of his contract in 2030, despite several clubs showing interest in him in recent times.

Olmo delivered an outstanding season with Barcelona, having played 46 official matches in which he scored 8 goals and assisted 9 others, becoming one of the key players in coach Hans Flick's lineup.
