Enrique: We Deserved the Title, and I'm Not a Legend
Luis Enrique, the coach of Paris Saint-Germain, appeared in a press conference after winning the UEFA Champions League title for the second consecutive season, defeating Arsenal on penalties following a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time.
The coach said in his speech: "I have mixed feelings. Excitement and exhaustion. Everything, but this is the best moment of the season. We are still champions, for the second time in a row, it's amazing."
He added, "We deserved it. Our fans, throughout the season, deserved to reach the final."
He continued: "It was a very tough match. I congratulate Arsenal, it was extremely difficult. They played brilliantly. This is normal. They try to impose their style of play during periods when they are at their best. We tried to control the ball and press. We won the title."
He concluded: "Are you a legendary coach? A legend? I don't care about that."
