Real Madrid Sets Date for Official Announcement of Nico Paz's Return

The Argentine Nico Paz is close to returning to the ranks of Real Madrid next season, after the club's management decided to activate the buy-back clause for the player at the end of the current season.

According to Spanish press reports, Paz's return will become official once the electoral process within the club is completed, as all parties within Real Madrid agree on the importance of bringing back the player, regardless of the identity of the president who will win the elections scheduled for June 7th.

The reports indicated that the deadline for activating the buyback clause extends until June 30, while sources within the club confirm that the matter is fully under control, and the announcement of the deal will not be made until after the presidential elections and the appointment of the board of directors that will lead the club until 2030.

In recent weeks, Nico Paz has received continuous messages from Real Madrid officials regarding plans to bring him back to the team. The player expressed his full readiness to take on the new challenge, despite his emotional attachment to the experience he had with the Italian club Como under the leadership of Cesc Fabregas.

Reports confirmed that the royal club will be able to reclaim the player for less than 10 million euros, despite several clubs being ready to pay nearly five times that amount for his services, thanks to a clause Real Madrid included when he transferred in the summer of 2024.
