Full Financial Details of Gordon's Transfer to Barcelona

A report by the local Newcastle newspaper "Chronicle Live" revealed details of the transfer deal of English player Anthony Gordon to Barcelona, following the completion of the agreement, making him the team's first signing in preparation for the 2026/2027 season.

The same source clarified that the value of the deal is approximately 80 million euros "69.3 million pounds sterling," in addition to 10 million euros as variables "8.6 million pounds sterling," making it one of the most notable deals of the summer transfer market.

The report indicated that Newcastle United will not receive the full value of the deal, as Everton retains 15% of the sale value, granting them approximately 12 million euros from the total deal.

The report also added that the financial incentives in the contract are tied to several conditions, most notably Barcelona winning titles, as Newcastle will receive additional amounts if the team secures championships.

The deal also includes another clause related to the number of appearances, whereby Newcastle will receive additional bonuses if the player participates in 60 matches wearing the Barcelona jersey, in addition to a specific clause regarding a percentage of any future sale of the player.

On a personal level, Gordon will receive a significant salary increase with Barcelona, nearly doubling the wage he earned at Newcastle, making him one of the most notable signings for the Catalan club in the current period.
