Date of Gordon's Transfer Deal Presentation to Barcelona

Barcelona is preparing for the official announcement of signing the Englishman Anthony Gordon to be the team's first deal during the transfer market in preparation for the 2026/2027 season.

The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' reported that Gordon will sign his contract with Barcelona today, Friday, at exactly two o'clock in the afternoon, after joining from Newcastle for 70 million euros, plus another 10 million as variables, with a contract extending until June 2031.

The newspaper added that the signing ceremony will take place inside the office of Barcelona's Vice President, Rafa Yuste, in the presence of the sporting director Deco, along with members of the sports committee and the English international player's agents.

Gordon is scheduled to hold a press conference at exactly two-thirty inside the commercial office of the Spotify Camp Nou stadium, where he will take his first pictures in the Barcelona jersey in front of the media.

The English player arrived on Thursday evening at the private aviation terminal of Josep Tarradellas Airport before undergoing medical examinations at Barcelona Hospital in preparation for officially completing the deal.

The report also explained that Barcelona organized a welcoming dinner for the player on Thursday evening, attended by Deco, along with Bojan Krkic, Alejandro Echevarria, and the scouting director Joao Amaral.
